D3 Office Group completed the design, fit out and refurbishment for a renowned food manufacturing company – Cranswick Convenience Foods in Hull with an approach of using materials that were either made from recycled materials or which were recyclable post use to ensure the office interiors was aligned with the client’s sustainability goals. D3 has been successful in refurbishing their old and tired office into a modern office that made a positive impact on the employees, clients, and the environment all at once.
The space planning focused on catering towards the company culture and visual branding that not only creates a positive reinforcement but also helps in leaving a lasting impression during client visits. We worked on putting the human requirements of the workforce in the forefront of our design concept by zoning the office into activity-based spaces like the breakout area for collaborative work , workstation areas for focused work , meeting room for confidential meetings and the tall tables and high stools area as a quick touch down point for field employees. We incorporated the open plan office layout to encourage communication and assist in developing a friendly company culture that helps employees to feel happy and fulfilled at work. Visual reinforcement of their ethos, vision and values were strategically placed around the workstations to help employees be motivated and boost morale. Additionally, special attention was given on specifying ergonomic furniture items that ensured employee wellbeing.
